PROVENZANO, Rosa - Peacefully, surrounded by her family, at the F. J. Davey Home on Sunday, November 20, 2011 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Sante Provenzano. Dearly loved mother of Tony (Tonina), Tullio (Louise), Mary Nowosielski (late Walter), Ada and Frank (Marilyn) Provenzano. Cherished grandmother of Rosangela Panzarino (Mike), Anthony Provenzano (Sheila), Sandy Provenzano (Gail), Anna-Lisa Walker (Dave), Liane Nowosielski, Sarah and Kayla Provenzano. Loving great grandmother of Michael and Anthony Panzarino, Marnie Provenzano, Michaela and Emma Walker and the late Brett Provenzano. Sister-in-law of Giacomo Provenzano (Dora) of Sault Ste. Marie and Adelina Cassiadoro (late Angelo) of Lakewood, California. Predeceased by her sisters Maria Cassiadoro (Roberto), Serafina Magnone (Matteo) and brothers Giuseppe Porelli (Anna) and Pasquale Porelli (Rosina). Dearly loved aunt to several nieces and nephews in Lakewood, California; Weirton, West Virginia and San Lucido, Italy. Friends are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. followed by a funeral mass at St. Gregory's Church at 1:30 p.m. with Father Trevor Scarfone officiating. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations to A.R.C.H. would be appreciated by the family. Special thank you to the staff on the first floor of Driftwood Beach and Cedar Grove Units at the F. J. Davey Home for their compassionate care.
