Obituary of Edward Hollingsworth

At the Sault Area Hospital on Thursday December 15, 2011 in his 85th year. Loving husband of Rita Mae Hollingsworth. Dear father of Wendy Gardiner, Susan Ouellette (Michel), Lynn Hollingsworth (Jocelyne Boutin), Paul Hollingsworth and Ann Melville (James). Doting Grandfather of Ryan Gardiner (Katy), Andrea Kruyne (Hugo), Stephanie Ouellette-Rienks (Jason), Elissa Ouellette, Kevin Melville and Michael Melville. Special Great-grandfather of Jack and Olivia Gardiner. Son of the late Lin and Agnes Hollingsworth. Brother of Ian Hollingsworth (Helen), Marie Frossard (late Al), and the late Simpson Hollingsworth (Mhora). He will be dearly missed by his many nieces and nephews. Lynn worked side-by-side with his family at Soo Mill Buildall before retiring, but carried the importance of family and generosity over to the community with his many years as a Rotarian and with various charities throughout the Sault. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Monday, December 19, 2011 from 6 to 9 p.m. A private funeral service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation, the Alzheimer Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
