PICKARD, Gordon Peter - Passed away suddenly at home on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 in his 79th year. Beloved husband of the late Evelyn Pickard and the late Sheila McCabe. Cherished father of Harmon, Vicki (Pat Burke), Brenda (Wendall Jones), Lana and Gord Jr. (Terri). Much loved Papa of Jeremy, Tara (Mike), Matt (Katherine), Jessica (Andrew), Jake, David, Dylan and Ben; great grandson Michael. Dear son of the late Alma and late Gordon Pickard; son-in-law of the late Eniar and late Theresa Hagen and Dorothy Montgomery. Loving brother of June (Gerald Jones), Lois (late Ownie Jones), Verlyn (Harold Smith) and predeceased by William (Marigold Pickard), Edwin Pickard and Joyce (Herb Mitchell). Special uncle of Dennis Jones, Jimmy Smith and Gordie Mitchell. Special loved uncle of many. Fondly remembered by the Hagen family and close friends Ron and Mary Reid. In keeping with Gordon's recently discoverd wishes, his family wishes to announce that his visitation and funeral service is cancelled. Spring interment at Goulais River Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Goulais River Fire & Rescue would be appreciated by the family. So we hope all who have been part of Gord's life know we are forever grateful.
