MARQUES, Manuel - It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Manuel at the Sault Area Hospital after a long courageous battle with lung cancer on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at the age of 75. Beloved husband of Helena. Loving father of Elizabeth Almeida, Teresa Lopes (Helder) and Ronnie Marques. Proud grandfather of Jason and Chelsey Almeida and Kaitlyn Lopes. Dear brother of David Marques (Prazeres), Lisdalia Gomes (Jose) and the late Antonio Marques (Otilia). Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Monday, January 23, 2012 from 10:00 to 1:30 followed by a funeral mass at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church at 2 p.m. with Father Patrick Woods officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations to Our Lady of Good Counsel Church would be appreciated by the family.
