Obituary of Alfredo Gagliardi

GAGLIARDI, Alfredo - On Wednesday, March 7, 2012, at the age of 68, with his family at his side, was peacefully lifted up by angels to Our Lord's gentle call, where he is re-united with his late parents, brothers and nephew. Alfredo was the deeply loved and devoted son of the late Antonio and Teresa Gagliardi and the amazing brother of the late Vincenzo (late Nina), late Mario (Pietruzza), Angela Sicoli (late Felice), Eugenio (Concetta), Fiore (Letty), Rosina Turco (Vincenzo), Franco (Lucy) and Ida Trinca (Celeste). Treasured uncle to Maria-Teresa, Angela, Patrizzia, Antonio, Chiara, Marisa, Adrianna all of Italy, Gennaro, Paul, Mary (Montreal), Renato (Ottawa), Tony, Mary-Lou (Sault), John (Oshawa), Joe (Sault), Pierina (Innisfil), Paul, Gianna (London), Laura (Sault), Stephen (Stratford), Luciano (Sault) and the late Angelo. Alfredo fought his long battle with cancer with dignity and valiant spirit. His smile and cheerful manner will be missed by his many cousins, his co-workers at the Sault Area Hospital and all who knew him. Friends and family are invited to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Monday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Veronica's Church on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. with Father Eric Pannike officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. We sincerely thank Drs.
