Obituary of Rose Esson

ESSON (Colosimo), Rose - On Wednesday, April 25, 2012, God called one of his angels to heaven, surrounded by her loving family at the Sault Area Hospital. Rose left us way too soon, after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer, at the age of 54 years. Best friend and loving wife of Allan Esson. Devoted mother of Vanessa O'Dell (Ryan), Daniel (Stephanie Weber), and Michael. Proud, caring, and dedicated daughter of Antonia Colosimo (late Mario). Adored daughter-in-law of Donald and Patricia Esson. Cherished sister of Marisa Fenos (Eddy), Teresa Ressel (Eric), Tony Colosimo (Maria), Sandy Colosimo (Ann) and Frank Colosimo (Rachelle). Caring sister-in-law of Dave Esson (Debbie), Carol Christiansen (Eric), and Keith Esson (Lori). Rose will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Family and friends may call at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Friday evening from 5 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Gregory's Church on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 10 a.m. with Reverend Eric Pannike officiating. Memorial donations to SAH-Cancer Care Fund would be appreciated by the family. Rose leaves us with her hope, strength, and courage as we move forward in our lives. She will be missed but will remain living through each and every person that she has touched during her time with us.
