Obituary of Riccardo Casonato

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Riccardo at the SAH Plummer Site, with his family by his side on Monday, April 30, 2012 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Renata for 54 years. Loving father of Liana Novello (Joe) and Don Casonato (Andrea Fitzsimons). Cherished Nonno of Matthew and Caitlin Novello. He is now reunited with his loving granddaughter Mikayla. Dear brother of the late Luigia Perisinotto (Renato), late Benvenuto Casonato (Lidia), Antonietta Vendrame (late Mario), Maria Vendrame (late Giovanni), Lina Cattai (Valerio), Santina Parpinelli (Mario) and Maurizio Casonato (Dora). Riccardo will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Thursday, May 3, 2012 from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Gerard Majella Church at 12:00 noon with Father Francis Ezenezi officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations to Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
