Obituary of Audrey Lay

Surrounded by her family, Audrey passed away peacefully in her sleep at the F. J. Davey Home on Friday, May 4, 2012 in her 84th year. Loving daughter of the late Clarkson and Doris Nicholls of Blind River, Ontario. Beloved and devoted wife of the late Ron Lay for 63 years. Loving mother of Barry, David (Sandra), Diana and Deborah King (David Elson). Cherished "Bubba" of Shawna Volkmann, Tammy Broks (Paul), Craig Huckson (Laura Mitchell), Jonathan King (and his father David King), Ron Lay (Sarah), Nick Lay (Rejeanne) and Christian Lay. Loving great grandmother "Bubba" of Colton, David, Emma, Riley, Avery, Alexandra and Lauren. Sister of Murray Nicholls (late Dot), Gloria Crozier (late Keith Nicholls), and Don Nicholls (Shirley). Sister-in-law of Orval Crozier, Nora Jennings (Art), Ross Lay (Marlene) and Carol Brownlee (Bob). Audrey will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, lifelong friends and choir mates. We love you Mom and you will be with us always. Our grief is cushioned knowing you are with Dad now- your best friend and the love of your life. In keeping with Audrey's wishes, there will be a private visitation and family service. Memorial donations to the F. J. Davey Home would be appreciated by the family.
