Obituary of Rosemary Tomie

Tomie, Rosemary Elizabeth (MacLeod) Rosemary passed away peacefully in her eighty-first year at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice on Saturday, May 19, 2012. She is loved and will be missed by her children, Alison Witty (Paul), Larry Tomie (Adriana), Mary Ellen Tomie and Annalee Tomie (Chris Brown). She was very proud of and loved her grandchildren Matthew and Catherine Witty and Erin Tomie. Rosemary was predeceased by her sister Beverley Adkins of London ON, and her parents William and Catherine MacLeod . She was a dear aunt to her nieces and nephews and their families: David Adkins of Kitchener, Catherine Adkins of Toronto, Paul Adkins of Sarnia, Margaret Ragetli of Peterborough, Michael Adkins of New York, Kim Fleury, Jerry Tomie Jr., Lynn Tomie, Kelly Tomie, Warren Wilson, Marty Wilson and Alex Mancuso. A celebration of Rosemary's life will be held at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Thursday, May 24, 2012 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. To our Mother's dear friend, Joy Marchyshyn, for her life-long friendship, her retirees' work family from the General Hospital and the Senior's Drop-in Centre knitting group, thank you for your kindness and support.
