Obituary of Carmen DeSimone

A truly inspiring husband, father, grandfather and family patriarch passed away on Tuesday, June 26 at age 87. Left to mourn his passing but cherish his life and forever hold in their hearts the genuine warmth of his unquestionable love are wife Josephine, daughters Theresa Leask (Doug), Franca Huckson (Bill), Silvana Huckson (Jo), Mary Russon (Randy) and Julie DeSimone-Syms (Billy); grandchildren Jennifer Leask (Kyle), Jeffrey Leask (Jessica), Michael Flammia (Sue), Kelly Huckson, Chris Huckson (Maria), Cara Russon, Bobby Russon, Sarah Huckson (Elpidio), Katie Huckson, Jake Huckson, Jesse DeSimone, Taylor McAllister, Brandon Syms and Brittany Syms. Great grandfather of Brookelyn, Owen, Sophie, Aliyah, Julian, Carter, Colton and Chloe. Loving brother of Joe (Marian.) Brother-in-law of Ada Provenzano (late Carmen.) Uncle of Frank (Julie), Lucas (Cara), Jana (Greg) and Mark (Paula.) Predeceased by his parents (Francesco and Teresa) and numerous brothers and sisters. Special thanks to his many caregivers, including Kotitalo staff, F.J. Davey Home staff (Driftwood Beach 2), Dr. Phil Catania (and nurse Chris) and Dr. Greg Berg.
