Obituary of Vittorio Mannarino

It is with deepest regrets and sympathy that we announce the passing of Vittorio Mannarino on Friday, August 17, 2012 at the age of 86. For 58 years he was the loving husband and best friend of Emma Mannarino (nee Sdao). He will be greatly missed by his children Sam Mannarino (Peggy), Rosa Mannarino and Clara Lindsay (Steven). One of Victor's greatest pleasures was his grandchildren Victor (Alicia Davey), Anthony and Christina Mannarino, Jessica (Kevin Seguin) and Jonathon Jubinville, the late Jeffrey, Felisha and Christopher Lindsay. Victor was the son of the late Maria and Giuseppe Mannarino. Cherished brother of the late Michele Mannarino (late Margarietta), late Teresa Napolitano (late Joseph), late Nicola Mannarino (Rita), Elvira Pasqua (late Genaro), Vincenzo Mannarino (Louisa) late Giulia Cicchello (Francesco), Carmela Consoli (Giovanni) and the late Peter Mannarino (Rosaria). Son-in-law of the late Angelina and Salvatore Sdao. Brother-in-law of the late Rosaria and late Rosario Pagnotta, Maria Sicoly (late Giovanni) and Lina and Armando Mollame. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Victor was born in Aiello, Calabro Cosenza Italy and came to Canada to find work at Algoma Contractors. He enjoyed his walks and working in his garden. He loved wrestling and going to hockey games. Friends may call at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Monday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at St. Gregory's Church on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Trevor Scarfone officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepluchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations to Heart & Stroke of Ontario and the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
