Peacefully, at the Sault Area Hospital, on Friday, September 7, 2012 at the age of 80. Cherished wife of Giuseppe. Loving mother of Bruno (Vittoria), Angela Shiga (Don) and the late Marina. Devoted and loving grandmother of Nadia, Joey (Sarah), Lauren and Brandon. Great grandmother of Nico, Bruno, Alessandro, Rocco, Neva and Tia. Daughter of the late Antonio and late Angela Compagnoni. Sister of Benito and predeceased by Vigilina, Arnino and Giuseppe, all of Italy. Sister-in-law of Nina Finateri (late Dante), Arduino (Concetta), Mario (Ana), late Domenico (Rosanna) and predeceased by Edivige (Francesco), Americo (Emma), Marietta (Domenico), Nannina (Nicola), Gina (Marino) and Giulio (Concetta). Family and friends may call at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Wednesday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass at St. Jerome Church on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at 10 a.m. with Monsignor Victor Amadio officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke would be appreciated by the family.
