Passed away at the Tendercare Nursing Home on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at the age of 85. Dear husband of Julia for 65 years. Dearly loved father of Helena (Klaas) of Sault Ste. Marie. Beloved grandfather to Madeleine. Son of the late Andrew and Sophia Natkanski. Beloved brother of Helena, Edward and the late John, all of Poland. Brother-in-law of Theo Ciszewski (Jean) of Stevensville, Michigan, Jessica Wojtowicz (John) of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Josie Zielinski (Jerry) of Chicago, Illinois and the late Peter of Chicago, Illinois. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Born in Opoczno, Poland on November 13, 1926, Ted was a miner at Algoma Ore in Wawa for many years before retiring in Sault Ste. Marie. Friends may call at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Thursday, September 27, 2012 from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass at Holy Family Parish on Friday, September 28, 2012 at 11 a.m. with Father Boguslaw Jaroszek officiating. At the family's request a private burial will be held. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
