Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Wednesday, September 26, 2012. Beloved husband of Susan for 50 years. Dear father of Michael Chartrand, Cathy Hamor (Mike) and Dianne Lecuyer (Dave Sr.) Loving grandfather of Ryan and Megan Hamor, David Jr. and Justin Lecuyer. Predeceased by his parents Oscar and Ida Chartrand. Brother of the late Jacques and Yvon Chartrand. Friends may call at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Saturday, September 29, 2012 from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service in the Chapel at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the SAH Palliative Care Fund would be appreciated by the family.
