Obituary of Louis Girardi

Unexpectedly but peacefully, on Friday, November 16, 2012 at the age of 74 years. Devoted and caring husband of the late Mary (nee Gariano) for 45 years. Loving father of Steven, Martin and Gary. Extraordinary father-in-law of Joette, Rachel and Paula. A one of a kind and amazing Nono to his 7 grandchildren; Megan, Lauren, Michael, Christopher, Matthew, Jack and Aili. Predeceased by his parents Antonio Cirillo and Teresa Girardi. Dear brother of Antoniette Zanatta (late Corrado), Noris Ragogna (John) and Donella Gabriel (Joe). He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Louie was a tireless supporter and fan of his children and grandchildren. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at St. Jerome Church at 10:00 a.m. with Monsignor Victor Amadio officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations made to the Down Syndrome Society of Sault Ste. Marie or Heart and Stroke of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
