Obituary of Yolanda Caruso

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Yolanda. She passed away peacefully at ARCH surrounded by her family on Friday, November 30, 2012. Devoted wife and best friend to Mike for 47 years. She was the loving mother of Louis (Mirella), Joe (Tina), Steve (Raea) and Michael (Colette). Cherished Grandma and #1 Fan of Michael, Matthew, Miranda, Joseph, Isabella, Bradon, Brielle, Connor and Dante. Sister of Frank Meraglia (Rosemary). She touched the lives of her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Ida Caruso, Maria Medaglia (Guido), Franca Pino (Guerino), Alfred Caruso, and John Gallo. Waiting to embrace her in heaven will be her parents Salvatore and Luisa Meraglia, her sister Mirella Gallo; and her extended family members Emilia and Luigi Caruso, Orlando Caruso, Carmela Mazzuca, Vittorio Mazzuca, Mario Caruso and Camillo Mazzuca. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews, and her faithful friend Keisha. Yolanda was a devoted parishioner and Euchauristic Minister of St. Veronica's Parish. Friends may call at the NORTHWOOD FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & RECEPTION CENTRE (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Monday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Veronica's Parish on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at 10 a.m. with Reverend Ron Ambeault officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, they would appreciate donations to SAH or ARCH. Yolanda's family would like to thank the devoted and caring staffs at Sault Area Hospital as well as ARCH.
