PETINGOLA, Georgina "Georgie" - It is with great sadness in our hearts but with many fond memories that we announce the passing away of Georgina Petingola surrounded by her family at Sault Area Hospital on Thursday, December 6, 2012. "Georgie" was the life partner of Peter Petingola (predeceased Oct. 22, 1990). Loving mother to Gary Petingola (Sheila) and Heather Petingola (Joe). Special Grandmother and story-teller to Rania (Daci), Emily Anna and Hannah Kathleen. Daughter of the late Matilda and Bernard Frolick. Cherished sister of late John Frolick (Jacqueline), late Robert Frolick and Marion White (late Paul). Dear sister-in-law to the late Helen Schryer (late Bud), late Ann Serenzi (late Frank), late Mary Gualazzi (Art), late Emma Aubin (Ken), late Lucy Gaudette, late Barbara Petingalo, late Sam Panco (late Eda), late Fred Petingalo (late Mary), late John Petingalo (late Pearl), late Louie Petingalo (Theresa), late Dominic Petingalo (late Deanna), Jim Petingalo (late June), Joe Petingalo (late Margaret) and Albert Petingalo (late Lynne). She will always be remembered by her furry friends Joey and Pitou. Georgie touched the lives of everyone who knew her through her cooking, storytelling and laughter. Georgina was laid to rest on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery at a private graveside service. Memorial donations to ARCH would be appreciated by the family.
