Obituary of William Currie

It is with deep sorrow that we say goodbye to a husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Peacefully, on January 20, 2013 at the age of 67, Dad let go of his difficult struggle with Parkinson's Disease. Beloved husband of 45 years to Faith. Much loved father to Kimberly Kienhöfer (Michael), Douglas (Joanne), Curtis (Karen) and Christopher (special friend, Vanessa). Loving grandpa to Jan, David, Paul, Greggory, Brett, Robyn, Megan, Jadyn, Melanie, Alyssa, Caitlynne and Cassandra. Great grandpa to Cody and Tryxie. Predeceased by his loving parents George and Marjorie. Brother to Judy Currie-Ross (late Bruce), Jane Vankirk (John), Jennifer Young (Gregg) and Bruce (special friend Janet). "Uncle Bill" to many nieces and nephews. Special friend of Kirk Kinghorn and Frank Smith. Friends may call at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service in the chapel on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at 12 noon. Interment at Goulais River Cemetery in the spring. Memorial donations to St. James Anglican Church or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
