Obituary of Lester Buckler

Passed away peacefully at ARCH on Thursday, March 14, 2013 in his 91st year. Dearly beloved husband of Ruby (nee Stewart) for 64 years. Loved by his children Betty Bugyra (Bob), Eileen MacKenzie (Doug), Ronald Buckler (Allison), Ethel Stewart (Mike) and the late Joyce Buckler. Special Grandpa to Corey (Laurie), Scot, Adele, Tamie (Rick), Cindy, Lynn (Brandon), Cal and Amanda. Great Grandpa to Ayden, Daemon, Kaylee, Brayden, Dylan, Alexis, Branden, Bailey and Emma. Son of the late Hilda and Stiles Buckler. Brother to the late Murdock, David, Arnold, late Jean, late Doris, late Mrytle, Stuart and the late Harold. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Born in Brule Shores, Nova Scotia and moved to Wawa in 1949 to work at Algoma Ore Division. In 2004 they moved to Sault Ste. Marie. Friends may call at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Monday, March 18, 2013 from 12 noon until time of funeral service in the Chapel at 1 p.m. with Pastor Ron Henson officiating. Spring interment at Woodland Cemetery, Wawa, Ontario. Memorial donations to ARCH or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
