Obituary of Emilio Pedatella

Together with our mother we, the children of Emilio, would like to announce his passing on Thursday, March 28, 2013 amongst his extended family of caregivers in Complex Care at the Sault Area Hospital. Dad was a special part of a loving family; his wife Rosaria, and children, Franca (Pat), Pina (Italo), Jim (Nancy), Mary; grandchildren Mirinda (Michael), Jonathan, Maria, Olivia, Isaiah, David; great grandson Louis and compari to Michael Magli. During our dad's long journey with dementia, we were blessed with an outpouring of support from St. Veronica's Parish community, the Red Cross, CCAC, SAH, Dr. Mario Febbraro, Dr. Burhan and dear friends, Compari Vito, Lina Pucci, Leo Kane and Comari Theresa. Their presence in our lives has touched us deeply. Emilio was predeceased by his parents Geniale and Maria Pedatella and his in-laws Francesco and Francesca Buffone. Brother of the late Angela, late Gaetano (Carmela) and late Guiseppe. Predeceased by his brothers-in-law Luigi and Francesco (late Josephine) Buffone. Uncle of Maria, Geniale, Donnatella, Lou (Carla), John (Charlotte), Franca (John) and Andy (Christina). On Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at 11 a.m. join us in a mass of celebration at St. Veronica's Church with Father Ron Ambeault officiating. Donations to Breaking Away (Supporting Independence for Adults with a Developmental Disability) gratefully appreciated and can be made before mass at the church. In lieu of flowers and thank you cards, the family has made donations to SAH and St. Veronica's Parish to honour our dad, a humble carpenter and father.
