Obituary of Salvatore Severini

It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Salvatore (Sam) Severini shortly after his 82nd birthday at the Sault Area Hospital on Saturday, March 30th, 2013. Beloved husband to Vera Severini for 56 years and proud father of his three sons; Joseph (Cora), Robert (Gail) and Carlo (Alison). His pride and joy were his three grandsons; Casey, Dante and Jordi. He is survived by his brother Peter (Lina) Severini in Italy. Brother-in-law of Peter and Lina Piraino and Elio and the late Nina DeSumma. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to the many doctors and nurses at the SAH for their compassion and care during the last several months. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Tuesday, April 2nd, 2013 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Veronica's Church on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Ron Ambeault officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Sault Area Hospital would be greatly appreciated by the family.
