Obituary of Luigi Briglio

On Easter Monday, April 1,2013 Luigi Briglio was welcomed to his eternal home by our good Lord and awaiting wife Ida (nee De Marco). He peacefully left the arms of his loving family on Earth to his family in Heaven at the age of 80 (Born February 10, 1933 in Aiello Calabria, Italy). Luigi is the proud father of Francesca (Paul) and Carlo (JoAnne). His grandsons Samuel and Louis will miss Nonno's funny stories and antics. Dear brother of Anna Mollame (Giovanni), Lina Fata (Giovanni), late Adamo (Angela), Vittorio (Paola), Celestino (Silvana). Dear brother in law of the late Rita Cairo (Eugenio), Frank De Marco (late Adelina), Iolanda Belsito (Rudolfo), Luigi De Marco (Maria), late Aldo De Marco (Donna), late Assunta Fascina (late Carmelo), late Orlando De Marco (Santa), Rinaldo De Marco (Avanina). Luigi leaves behind his uncle Gaspere, aunt Matilda Caruso, many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Family and friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Wednesday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral service on Thursday April 4, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the F. J. Davey Home or the Sault Area hospital. The family would like to thank the staff on Cedar 2 of the F. J. Davey Home for the wonderful care for both our parents over the years. You were our extended family. Special thanks to all our family and friends who gave of their time to visit and for their on going support and prayers over these last few years.
