Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Annina (nee Medaglia). Dearly loved father of Josephine Darou (Derek), Marissa Hamilton (Stewart) and Rosanna. Cherished Nonno of Amanda, Andrew (Nikki), Adam, Kaitlyn, Matthew and will be dearly missed by his great grandchildren. Son of the late Emilio and Guiseppina Mauro. Brother of the late Antonio (late Linda), Mario (Cheryl), Vincenzo and Maria Mirabelli (Ernesto). Nephew of the late Gennaro Spina (Ida) and special cousin of Frank Spina (late Christine), Joe Spina (Anita), Santo Spina (Carmelina) and Emma Caputo (late Gabriel). Brother-in-law to Pierino Medaglia (Franca), late Esterina Cuzzolino (late Antonio), late Natale Medaglia (late Carmella) of Italy, late Frank Medaglia (Angelina) and Adolfo Medaglia (Rosa) of Italy. Pasquale will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 from 10 to 12:30 p.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Gregory's Church, Estelle Street at 1:00 p.m. with Father Trevor Scarfone officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations to the Algoma Lung Association or ARCH would be appreciated by the family. Special thanks to Alberta and Dr. Ianni, Christine and Dana and staff at Vital Air, Jake and staff at Rome's Pharmacy. "You fought the fight Dad now go plant your garden in peace." We love and will miss you!
