Peacefully, gone to be with our Lord and Saviour at the Sault Area Hospital on Sunday, June 2, 2013 at the age of 95. Wife of the late William McLean (1974) and the late Alvin VanLuven (2001). Mother of Carole Charlevois (Edward), Barbara Nirkkola (late Arvo), Arlyne Greenwood (Garnet), Elizabeth Smith (Desmond) and the late Helen Anne McLean. Step-mother to Muriel Denton, Nancy Harnes and Gary VanLuven. Grandma to Janice, Bruce, Lorie, Kevin, Shawn, Heather, Derrick and Darren. Great grandma of 11 and great great grandma of 2. Beloved sister of Alice Brodie of Sudbury. Friends may call at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) Thursday, June 6, 2013 from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service in the Chapel at 1 p.m. with Pastor Benny Kjiersdam officiating. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial donations to ARCH would be appreciated by the family. "Only one life soon will pass. Only what's done for Christ will last."
