Obituary of Anthony Scornaiencki

Please share a memory of Anthony to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
SCORNAIENCKI, Anthony (Tony, Scratch) On Saturday June 15th, at the age of 64, Tony left this world peacefully, surrounded by the love and happiness that he and his loving wife Brenda spent 39 years creating. Left to forever treasure his memory and his stories are his four children, Krista Morgenstern (Mark), Tricia Scornaiencki, Mark Scornaiencki (Shannon), and Paula Watts (Aaron). Nono's sense of humour and infectious laugh will continue to bring smiles and giggles to his Grandchildren; Hanna and Jacob Scornaiencki, Megan, Adam, and Ashley Morgenstern, and Nathan and William Watts. Tony was eagerly awaiting the arrival of his 8th grandchild in August. Many family memories were created over the years with life time friends, Glenn and Louise Bernardi. Tony was the loving son of the late James and Irene Scornaiencki. Brother in law to Brian and Diane Nelson, and Chris and Lori Nelson. Uncle Tony will be missed by nephews Paul, Glynn, Phillip, Matthew, Michael, and Andrew. Tony confounded the medical profession with his resilience, living his nine lives and more with strength and determination. His perseverance will truly be a legacy for all who knew him. Friends are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Wednesday June 19, 2013 from 6 to 9 p.m. Memorial donations to ARCH would be appreciated by the family. Tony's family would like to thank the physicians and nurses of SAH ER and ICU, as well as EMS for their care and compassion. www.northwoodfuneral.com There's nothing more that Tony loved, than a good party with family and friends. In keeping with his wishes, a large celebration is to be announced at a later date.
