LYPPS, Eleanor Mhari "Ellie" (nee Simpson) - After a long courageous battle with cancer (F*#! Cancer), Ellie passed away peacefully at ARCH, surrounded by her family, at the age of 56. Dear mother of Samantha Wood (Pierre McCourt), Alexander Wood (Dana Baddar) and Ryley Lypps (Pamela). She will be missed by Richard and Jacqueline Wood and Craig Lypps. Sister of Janie Bray (Paul) and Alisdair Simpson. Aunt Lal to many nieces and nephews, and a mother to many more. Daughter of the late Hugh and Catherine Simpson (John Norrie). Daughter-in-law of Gillian and Gordon Wood. Ellie's many friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre Chapel (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at 4 p.m. Reception to follow at Loplops (651 Queen Street East). In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to ARCH would be appreciated by the family. Special thank you to ARCH, SAH ICU and nurse Laura Liddiard for your care and compassion. "Shake & Bake".
