We met Bill when he worked for System Supply over 30 some years ago. He supplied us not only with paper products but his expertise. His knowledge grew with the ever changing times and he helped us along the way with his guidance when these changes affected our business. We always enjoyed our chit chats when Bill dropped by the office and he will be truly missed by many who knew him over the years. Our sincerest condolences to his family. Brian & Janet Wardlaw

Hi Bill, Brian, John and Jimmy, I'm so sorry about the loss of your Father. His loss has certainly made me reflect on some great times together over the years. What a dancer your Dad was! I loved how he could make you feel like you were the only one in the room! Oh course, times like this also makes me think of your gorgeous Mom and how deeply I loved and respected her and her selfless nature. I truly wish I could be there with the family and please know we are thinking and sending positive thoughts your way. Love, Allison xx

Dearest Bill, Brian, John, Jim and families, We remember so many happy times and family visits spent together. Your dad always made us feel at home and we remember him making the best pancakes and delicious barbeque meals. He was such a kind and generous man and worked so hard for his family. You are wonderful men, husbands and fathers and your father’s legacy will live within all of you forever. With all our love and deepest sympathy, Uncle John, Aunt Elizabeth, Adam, Allison and David

When I think of my cousin Bill, I think of adventures : paddling a tiny row boat out into Lake Huron to get an up-close look at a huge laker ship; riding bikes around the park in Elliot Lake, or with Andy on the iron red streets of Atikokan; picking blueberries in the northern woods for Aunt Isa and dodging the black bears; climbing to the top of the Wawa Canada Goose; fishing for Pickerel and Pike on the pristine lakes of NW Ontario; pretenting to be a pair of rich college kids looking to buy a 30' power cruiser at the Boat Show; riding around in Bill's latest 're-created' car up north, or his new Ford Pinto - 'the car of the future' he declared - in Toronto; double dating with Bill & Donna in North Toronto; or the ultimate adventure - trying to 'enjoy' one of Bill's homebrewed beers ! Great times and great fun !

Bill and I were cousins, only month apart in age. When we emigrated to Canada in 1951, we lived with my Aunt Isa and Uncle Bill ( Bill's dad ) in V-town, outside Kirkland Lake. We visited every summer, as kids, and had a great friendship. I remember one camping trip near Orillia when a Monopoly game between us got so competitive, we knocked over the whole tent trailer debating someone's move ! We must have made up, as Bill was in our wedding party - and always a favourite of Margo and I. Bill - we sorely miss you - and your great stories - already ! Love, Gord & Margo

My sincere condolences to the Polnick family. Bill was a great neighbor - friendly and helpful. I always remember Bill working on the latest car project in the yard, and I fondly remember the few neighborhood get togethers that we all attended. RIP.
