Surrounded by her family, a very special person passed away peacefully at ARCH on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at the age of 90 years. Beloved wife of the late William "Willie". Devoted mother and best friend of Leah and precious mother-in-law to Jim Dougan. Dearest daughter of the late Daniel and Agnes Wilkie. Sister of Margaret Jess (Sam) and sister-in-law of John Wilson (late Fay) of Greenock, Scotland and sister of Jean Christie (late Ted) of Belleville, Ontario. Predeceased by Helen (late David), Daniel, Mary (John), Rose (late George),Joseph Rodney, Leah and John all of Greenock, Scotland. Sister-in-law of the late Sarah Stewart (Billy). Dearest aunt of many nieces and nephews in Greenock, Scotland, Australia, Belleville and Ottawa, Ontario. Friends may call at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral mass at St. Gerard Majella Church on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 10 a.m. with Father Francis Ezenezi officiating. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial donations to ARCH would be appriated by the family.
