Went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 25, 2013; Filippina Carlucci in her 85th year. Gone to join her loving husband Arturo. Most loved mother of Madelaine Bruno (Mike), Tony (Carol), Mario and Frank. Cherished Nanna of Angela (Jason), Laura, Chris, Miranda (Derek) and Frankie. Devoted great grandmother to Alexandra, Jamie and Ellie. Predeceased by her parents Caterina and Antonio Bernardo. Sister of the late Fiore Bernardo (late Maria), late Maria Ienzi (late Achille), late Giuseppina Trunzo (late Giovanni), late Carmine Bernardo (Filomena), Natalina DiCicco ( late Stano), late Nicolina Ciddio (late Giuseppe), Settimio Bernardo (Rosaria), late Carmela Pulice (late Luigi), Battista Bernardo (late Rosa), Teresa Berardelli (Vincenzo) and Giovanni Bernardo (Tommasina). Daughter-in-law of the late Maddalena and late Antonio Carlucci. Sister-in-law of Tommasina Bernardo (Giovanni), Adela Caputo and Settimio Carlucci (Santa). Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and wonderful neighbours. Pina was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother who always put her family first. She loved her garden, cooking and sharing all that she had with others. Friends may call at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Thursday, August 29, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Funeral Mass to follow at 1:30 p.m. at St. Gregory's Church with Father Alex Saurianthadathil officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations to the Sault Area Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
