Peacefully surrounded by the love of her family at the Sault Area Hospital on Sunday August 25, 2013 at the age of 52, God called on Pierina to be with Him. Cherished and loving mother of Gianni. Beloved daughter of Orlando and Matilda Perri. Dear sister of Anita Perri (Joe Ceglie). Special Aunt of Amanda and Vanessa Kubik (Greg Sartoretto). Dear friend of John Cavaliere. Sister-in-law of David Anthony. Niece of Annetta (Emilio) Iacoe, Rose Perri (late Emilio Battiste), Ida (Antonio) Perri of Sydney, Australia, Concetta (Eugenio) Gagliardi, Santa (Attilio) Guido and Yolanda (Amato) Biasucci. She will be greatly missed by her cousins and fondly remembered by friends Roseanne Fortino and Maria Famiglietti. Pierina was a very giving person, would always be there for anyone who needed help. She touched the lives of everyone in so many ways. She truly had a heart of gold. Friends may call at Northwood Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 from 10:00 AM until time of funeral services in the Chapel at 2:00 PM with Father Francis Ezenezi officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial Donations to Children's Make a Wish Foundation or Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated. The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to Dr. Hill, Cindy, Dr. Cziffer, Jennifer & Leo of Bayshore Home Health, the nurses and staff of 3C and a special thank you to the nurses of ICU for their ongoing support to the final hours.
