It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anna Angeline Fera (August 24, 1940 - August 28, 2013). Peacefully at ARCH surrounded by the love of her family, 4 days after her 73rd birthday. Anna was predeceased by Henry Catling, her first husband in 1958. Wife of 50 years to the late Anthony J. Fera (May 21, 2011). Daughter of the late Angelo and Sarah Chicarelli. Dear mother of the late Cathy, Anna Parker (Chris), Janice, Steven (Karen), Michael (Maria) and Nancy Robson (Mark). Sister of Irene Scali (late John), Eva Thibodeau (Henry), Velma Fragonese, Rita Lauzon (Bernard), Ronald Chicarelli (late Ingrid) and Sandra Cook (Charles). Sister in law of the late Adeline Cerenzia, late Marie Pettallia (late Sosto), late Joe Fera (Ethel), late Alfred Fera (Joyce), Theresa Fera, Connie Belsito (late Angelo) and late Eda Perna (late Quinn). Beloved Grandmother of 12. Great Grandmother of 8. Much loved aunt to many nieces and nephews, too many to mention. She will be sadly missed by her close friends of many years. Friends may call the Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Friday, August 30, 2013 from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service in the chapel at 2 p.m. Father Alex Saurianthadathil officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that memorial donations be made to ARCH. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at the Sault Area Hospital and ARCH for the care and compassion shown to Anna.
