Obituary of Myra Patterson

Passed away peacefully at Mapleview Nursing Home with her family by her side, on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 in her 81st year. Beloved wife of the late George and the late Evan Smith. Special mother of Rodney Smith (Paula), Betty Comeau (Larry) and Carolyn Keck (Don). Grandmother of Patty, Sandy (Dan), Jennifer (Terry), Melanie (Cliff) and Travis. Great grandmother of nine. Daughter of the late Lydia and Mervyn Wyman. Sister of Charles (late Helen) and the late Dean (late Joyce). Loving aunt of many. Special friend of Evelyn and Rick McLean. Special thanks to the girls who cared for Mom in Goulais Bay section on the second floor at Mapleview. A celebration of Myra's life will be held on Sunday, September 1, 2013 at the home of Rod and Paula Smith, 47 Clergue Street from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place and inurnment at Maple Ridge Cemetery. Memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
