Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital, Monday, September 30, 2013, in his 61st year. Sam was a devoted father, leaving behind his children Ben Rosa and Sarah Rosa, and their mother Jennifer Smart. Sam is predeceased by his parents Angelo and Celsa Rosa, and was a loving brother to his sister Rosalie Gilles (Conrad) of Binbrook, ON. Sam will also be greatly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. As a long-time Conservation Officer with the Ministry of Natural Resources, Sam loved the outdoors and was passionate about the conservation of fish and wildlife. A reflection of Sam's life will take place at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Thursday, October 3, 2013, from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers a donation to Ducks Unlimited, or similar conservancy organization would be appreciated.
