Obituary of Anthony Mancini

Sadly passed away at the Welland Hospital on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 in his 82nd year. Loving husband and best friend of Mary Mancini for 53 years. Son of the late Theresa and Rosario Mancini. Loving father of Susan Watson (Shawn), Wendy Favotto (Larry) and Michael Mancini. Cherished Papa to Shannon, Michael, Sarah, Lauren, Lindsay, Madison and Nathalie. Dear brother of Sally Rahn (Murray), Bill (Jean) and the late Frank. Predeceased by his aunts and uncles; Mary Nadrasky (Marty), Rose Carricato (James), Josephine Quinn (Bill), Domenic, Joe and Sam Trepasso. Tony will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Tony loved life, loved to sing and dance and always greeted you with a big smile. He loved his family, his friends and especially loved his grandchildren. A celebration of Anthony's life will be held at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Inurnment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
