Obituary of Wesley Masters

Please share a memory of Wesley to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
In his 61st year, Alan fell asleep in death at his home with his family by his side. Al was known to all as a genuine, kind, loving and humble man with an unfailing loyalty to his family and friends. Any who knew Al loved and respected him. His love and appreciation for the simple things in life was contagious to those around him. To him, every day was "a gift" and he enjoyed it to the fullest. He will be sadly missed by his wife Rebecca who adored him --- the "love of her life" for 40 years. As his life-long companion, being by his side was a wonderful and safe place to be. He was an amazing and devoted father to his son Andrew. Alan is the eldest son of Wesley and Carmel Masters. He was brother to Lesley Masters (Shelley), Barbara King (Bruce), Sandra Antonello (David), Reg Masters (Candy) and Rebekah Doyon (Jason); son-in-law of the late Walter and Shirley Harris; brother-in-law of Daniel Harris (Donnell), Sue Ruff (Wayne) and Cynthia Gilchrist (Ray). Uncle Al will be dearly missed by his many nieces and nephews who will cherish the fun times they had with him over the years. During his long battle with cancer, it was Al's faith in his Creator and the scriptural hope of a resurrection that sustained him (Revelation 21:4). We thank our God Jehovah for this wonderful hope and His promise of being reunited with our loved ones on a paradise earth soon to come. A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 742 Third Line, East, on Saturday, October 26th, 2013 at 2:00 p.m.
