Obituary of William Zarechney

Peacefully, surrounded by his family, at Sault Area Hospital on Sunday, October 20, 2013 at the age of 74. Beloved husband of the late Erie Zarechney. Loving father of Jane Bean, Billy-John (Christine) and Colleen Scott (Jay). Jaju of April, Sara and Kyle, Thomas and Victoria, Logan and Averie. Brother of John Zarechney (Beverley) and the late Dolores Breen. Bill will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and extended family in both Holland and Canada. In the early 1960's he took great pride in starting his own business, Bill Zarechney Trucking which grew into what is now known as Oaklin Trucking and Leasing and together with his family, ran a successful business for many years. Friends may call at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service in the Chapel on Friday, October 25, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Holy Sepluchre Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the Sault Area Hospital - Cancer Care Fund would be appreciated by the family.
