Obituary of Kalervo Kalliomaa

Passed away at the Sault Area Hospital on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Eeva Kalliomaa. Dear father of Mark (Catherine). Cherished grandfather of Eeva-Marie and Avery Jack Kalliomaa. Born in Himanka, Finland to the late Vilho and the late Sanni Kalliomaa of Finland. Brother of the late Voitto , Valto, Jorma of Finland, Paavo, Pentti of Sweden and the late Leila Minkkinen of Finland. Brother-in-law of Vicki McGrayne, Harry Lindback (Donna), Kenneth Lindback, David Lindback (Sandy), Marlene Rivet (Ron), Mailis Lewis and Brian Lindback (Linda). Uncle to Marty, Jason and many nieces and nephews. He was a friend to many at Sand Bay. At Kal's request a private family service will be held at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758). Memorial donations Ontario Finnish Rest Home (Uusi Koti) or Heart & Stroke of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
