Obituary of Edna Yanchuk

November 5, 2013 YANCHUK, Edna - Peacefully on Friday, November 1, 2013 in her 93rd year. Surrounded by her loving family, Edna was reunited with the love of her life, her devoted husband Ferdie Yanchuk. Cherished mother of Gayle Allinotte, the late Gloria Dawn Riddell (late Ian), Glenda Yanchuk, Brian Yanchuk (Lynne) and the late Jacqueline Dumond. Loving Grandmother of Kim Allinotte, Stephanie Nolan (Steve), Trina Allinotte (Christian Chapman), Pamela Armstrong (Todd), Russ Riddell (Susan Blythe), Sheila Riddell (George Campbell), Andrew Riddell (Annette), Angela Neff, Brent Neff (Leta), Carrie Spadoni (Alan), and Jennifer Smith (Dan). Special Great Grandmother of Jessica, Shayenna, Sheldon, Jonah, Ava Mary, Jude, Mitchell, Hazel, Henry, Sam, Shawana, Bradley, Marcus, Angus, Gavin, Madison, and Drake. Edna was the last surviving child of the late Mildred and James Dumond. Sister to Zella Bonin (Albert), Verna Dumond, Percy Dumond (Theresa), Jim Dumond, Leslie Dumond (Ellen) and Clifford Dumond (Anne). Edna was a remarkable lady who was the glue of our family. Her warmth and kindness, as well as her independent spirit and determination will be fondly remembered. She leaves a legacy of strong family values and ties behind her.
