Obituary of Andre Trahan

Our family's hero, man of strength and honour, who had the most unforgettable smile; André passed away on Wednesday. For 57 years he was the adored husband of Gertrude. Much loved father of Joanne (Nick), André (Leslie), Jocelyn (Jim), Monique and Richard (Georgina). Our Pepère and his famous "dessert" will be forever missed by all of his 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Cherished brother of the late Adeline, late Roger, late Annette, Yvonne, Aurore, late Louis, late Helen, Claire, Cecile, Lilas, Colette and Mike. André will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life, for all of his family and friends, will be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church on Monday, December 23, 2013 at 11 a.m. with Father Pat Woods officiating. A reception will follow the mass at the Verdi Hall (455 Queen Street West). In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Sault Area Hospital Renal Dialysis Care Fund. Special thanks to all the SAH staff especially the Renal Unit and Emergency doctors and nurses.
