It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Fiorenzo Bossio on Monday, January 6, 2014, at the age of 92. Beloved husband of Teresa Bossio (Fata). Loving father of Laura Pino (Claudio) of Ottawa and Joe Bossio (Colleen) of Sault Ste. Marie. Loving grandfather of Sandra Polito (Mike), of Ottawa, Ray Pino (Stephanie), of Montreal, Troy and Travis Bossio of Sault Ste. Marie, Triscilla Bossio and Triona Bossio of Texas. Great Grandfather of Anna and Ross Polito of Ottawa, Joseph and Leona of Texas and Lorenzo Pino of Montreal. Cherished son of the late Pasquale and Laura (Spinelli) Bossio of Italy. Loving brother of the late Vittorio Bossio (Angela), the late Astorino Bossio (Fenice), the late Antonia Fata (Natale), the late Ellina Fata (Pasquale), the late Veneranda Bruni (Bruno) and the late Gilda Bossio (Peppino) all of Italy, Adolfo Bossio (Isabella) and Agostino Bossio (the late Maria) of Sault Ste. Marie. Brother-in-law of Guerino Fata (the late Esterina) (Angelina). Fiorenzo will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews in Italy, Sault Ste. Marie, Ottawa and Thunder Bay. Friends may call at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation And Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Friday January 10, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. followed by a funeral mass at St. Jerome Church at 1:00 p.m. with Father Eric Pannike officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
