Obituary of Concetta Fata

After a lengthy illness with Alzheimer Disease, Concetta died on Tuesday, January 14, 2014, surrounded by her loving family at Van Daele Nursing Home. Beloved wife of the late Ottavio. Loving mother of Rose Lamantea (Bruno), Frank Fata (Maureen) and Nancy Barbuto (Domenic). Mother-in-law of the late Eugene Buffone. Cherished and much loved Nana of Tony Buffone (Natalie), Mark Buffone (Meaghan), Mafalda Laliberte (Dave), Jeremy Fata (Laura Agliani), Danielle Fata (Danny Czop), Lukas Fata, Elizabeth Pileggi (Joe) and Jessica Murray (Patrick). Great-Nana of Sebastian and Talia Buffone, Milo and Julian Buffone, Colton and Chloe Laliberte, Leah and Madelyn Czop, Alyssa and Brianna Pileggi and Liam Murray. Loving daughter of the late Pasquale and the late Nicolanna Brunetti. Predeceased by her brothers Giuseppe Brunetti (Isabella), Giovanni Brunetti (Rosaria) and her sisters Rosaria Giardino (Antonio) and Maria Alfano (Antonio). Sister-in-law of the late Bruno Fata (late Adelina), late Eugenio Fata (late Rosaria), late Anna DeAngelis (late Francesco), late Settimio, Maria Coccimiglio (late Antonio) and Antonio Fata (Maria). Special aunt to Frank Brunetti (Teresa) and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Friday, January 17, 2014 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral mass to follow at St. Gregory's Church at 12 noon with Father Ron Ambeault officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations to Extendicare Van Daele would be appreciated by the family.
