Obituary of Marie Theresa Mancuso

It is with profound sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Theresa Mancuso (nee Lavallee) on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at the F.J. Davey Home, at the age of 84. Devoted wife and best friend of the late Joseph Mancuso. Loving mother of Robert "Bob" (Elaine) of Oshawa, Wayne (Sharon) of Trenton and Debbie Mancuso (Clar) of Sault Ste. Marie. Special grandmother of Lisa Perry (Guy), Kathleen Cseresnyesi (Derik Ellis), Steven Cseresnyesi (Luda), Dr. Nicholas Mancuso, Gary Bazzo (Genevieve), Tracy Antonello (John) and Mark Bazzo. Great grandmother of 14 beautiful great grandchildren that lit up her life. Daughter of the late Orphida and Annie Lavallee (Laderoute). Sister of Leonard Lavallee (Lillian) of Blind River and predeceased by Edward Lavallee (Anne) of Sault Ste. Marie, Isidore (Henriette) of Sault Ste. Marie, Flora Savard (late Adelard), Lucien Lavallee (late Cisarie), Emile Lavallee (late Dot), Reverend Father Lawrence Lavallee, Telesphore (late Sophie), Beatrice Simpson (late Lloyd) and Leo (late Verna) of Sudbury. Sister-in-law of late Rose Porcaro (late Eugene) of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, the late Tom Mancuso, late Dominic Mancuso (late Lucy), the late Tony Mancuso (late Eda) and James Mancuso(Mildred) all of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Theresa will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Sunday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at St. Gregory's Church on Monday, January 20, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Alex Saurianthadathil officiating. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial donations to ARCH or the Northern Ontario Families of Children with Cancer (NOFCC) would be appreciated by the family.
