Obituary of Alfred Bernier

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Fred at the Sault Area Hospital on Wednesday, March 5, 2014. Adored husband of Pauline (Ethier) of 40 years. Dearly loved father of Pam Ingram (Shane), Bridget Maguire (Mike) and Ryan Bernier (Samantha Candido). Proud Papa of Alex, Sheyenne and Steven Ingram, Emma and Abby Maguire, Lisa Noel-Bernier. His furry friends Bailey and Raleigh will miss him dearly. Cherished son of Grace Bernier and the late Eugene Bernier. Loving brother of Peter (Francine), Frank (Dee), Chris (Kim), Mary, Michael (Barb) and Berniece (Pat). Fred will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Fred will be dearly missed by his Mekatina hunting party. Friends may call at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Saturday, March 8, 2014 from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service in the Chapel at 2 p.m. with Mrs. Helen Smith officiating. Memorial donations to the SAH Cancer Care Fund or Renal Dialysis Care Fund would be appreciated by the family.
