- It is with great love and sadness that the family of Pietruzza Marrelli (nee Carlucci) announces her passing in her sleep at the Sault Area Hospital on Friday, April 4, 2014 in her 100th year. Loving wife of the late Albert Marrelli. Cherished mother of Carmen (Yolanda), Mary Alfano (Enzo), Lena Brogno (late John) and Gina Chouinard (Gilles). Loving grandmother of Albert (Anitra), Joe (Jan), Rick (Jessie) Marrelli, Debbie Gibbs (Scott), Terri Felix (Chris), Danny (Faye), Enzo Jr. (Laurie), Michael (Becky) Alfano, Jimmy, Tracy, Susan (Kathy) Brogno, Sheila Connolly (Quentin), Jamie Chouinard (Fiona). Great grandmother of 18. Predeceased by her parents Vincenzo and Rosaria Carlucci. Loving sister of the late Alfonso and the late Achillo of Italy, the late Emila Sicoly (late Sam). Step sister of the late Thomas Carlucci (Nancy) of Calgary, Alfonso Carlucci (Ida) of Toronto, late Eugenio Caputo (late Erminia) and the late Luisa Sicoly (late Joe). Pietruzza will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral mass on Friday, April 11, 2014 at St. Gerard Majella Church at 11:00 a.m. with Father Francis Ezenezi officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations made to the Canadian Hemophilia Society and the Sault Area Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
