Peacefully, on Saturday, April 19, 2014, at the Sault Area Hospital at the age of 86. Loving husband of Maria. Devoted father of Roger (Ann). Cherished grandfather of Adam (Cora) and Amy and great grandfather to Caitlin, Lukas and Jordan. Brother of the late Eto (late Ester), late Fiorino (Loridana) and Milania (late Mario). Brother in law of Lydia (Louie), Corina (Berto), Ida (late Marco) and Claudio. Giovanni will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Family and friends may visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. until time of the funeral service in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations to the Sault Area Hospital would be appreciated by the family. Special thanks to Dr. Spadafora and all the staff at the Sault Area Hospital Cancer Clinic for your care and compassion.
