Peacefully at Extendicare Mapleview Nursing Home on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 in her 85th year. Devoted wife and dance partner of the late Morris Grisdale. Mother of Lynda Osborne (Leslie) and Sandra Punch (Wayne). Proud grandmother of Danny Osborne, Bradley Osborne (Agnes), Curtis Osborne (Shelly), Christopher Punch (Elsa) and Krystal Fitz Simmons (John). Great grandmother to Brook, Adrianna, Hunter, Madeline, Spencer, Evan and Dana. Daughter of the late Bruce and Thelma Longstreet (Edwards). Sister to the late Robert (Ritva), Lois Mahavelich (late Nick) and Donna Kent (Bud). Resting at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Tuesday, May 6th, 2014 from 10:30 a.m. until time of funeral service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. A special thanks to the staff at Extendicare Mapleview-McCarroll Lake and the former Great Northern Nursing Centre.
