Surrounded by his family at the Sault Area Hospital on May 20, 2014 at the age of 54. Loving husband of Debbie Boyer. Devoted father of Troy (Joanie) and Sara (Adam). Special Papa of Lycia, Madison, Taliyah and baby Francis to be. Predeceased by his parents Reg and Edna Francis. Brother of the late Billy (Bernie), Beverly, the late Cheryl (late Clifford), Ricky (Karen), late Randy, Cindy and Tammy. Son-in-law of Barbara Boyer and the late Bill Boyer. Brother-in-law of Timmy (Mary), Gary (Kim), Donna (Mario), Susie, Chris, Heather and Lisa. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to wear their best Montreal Canadians memorabilia to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) for visitation on Saturday, May 24, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. until time of Celebration of Life in the Chapel at 4:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to a trust fund for James' grandchildren payable to Debbie Boyer In Trust.
