The family regrets to announce the sudden loss of a loving brother and uncle on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at the Hamilton General Hospital at the age of 56 years. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Emanuela (nee Nardella) D'Alessandro. Beloved brother of Euphrasia, Dominic and Anthony D'Alessandro, Carol Dietz (husband Kim) and Carla Hoffman (husband Michael). Loving uncle of Michael (Theresa), Juli Stanghetta (husband Dean), Matthew (fiancé Sarina) and Adam (fiancé Sara), Mannie and Thomas Dietz and Suzanne Beltrano (late Greg). Great uncle of Kyle D'Alessandro, Aiden and Colton Stanghetta and Madison D'Alessandro. Mario will be sadly missed by his many friends and coworkers with LIUNA Union Local 506. A private family service will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2014. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
