Obituary of Eileen Hunter

Passed away peacefully at Extendicare Mapleview Nursing Home on Sunday, June 1, 2014 at the age of 86. Dear mother of Denise Herbert and Rick Hunter (Denise). Cherished grandmother of Kevin, Karl (Josh) and Kris Herbert, Greg (Carole) and Kelly Hunter. Eileen will be remembered by the father of her children, Russ Hunter. Daughter of the late Oswald and Gertrude Black. Dear sister of the late Jim, late Ben, late Lloyd (Alma), Melvin, Wanda Killins (late Gerald), Olive Jones (late Basil), Bill (Kay), Garry (Ethel), late Lee (Carmen) and Sharon Rathbone (Marvyn). Daughter-in-law of the late Robert and late Ruby Hunter. Sister-in-law of Eunice Fewchuk (Eugene), late Ollie Hunter and late Simone Hunter. Eileen will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) Thursday, June 5, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Mrs. Helen Smith officiating. Interment at Sands Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to ARCH or the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
