Obituary of Enes Nanni

On August 7, 2014, at the age of 91, in the caress of her family, Enes made her final journey from life, through death, to new and eternal life in the glory of God. She is reunited with her much loved husband, the late Ignatius, her parents, the late Cesare and late Maria Tagliabracci and late siblings. Enes is the loving mother of Letty Gagliardi (Fiore) of Sault Ste. Marie and Ken Nanni (Jan) of London and devoted Nonna to her cherished grandchildren Paul Gagliardi (Anna) and Gianna Pratten (Warren) all of London, Matthew Nanni (Kim) of Ottawa, Dana Chapman (Scott) of Brantford and Kirsty Nanni of London and great Nonna of her precious great grandchildren Cameryn, Kiara, Evan, Rosemary, Charlotte and Vaughan. Enes is the daughter-in-law of the late Adamo and late Litizia Nanni. Her beloved sisters are Eseda Bobinec (late Michael) and late Ereda Simonini (late Lino) and her brothers (Tagliabracci); the late Louis (late Nina), late Hector (Virginia), late Elvino (late Polly) late Silvio (late Lisa), late Jerry and late infant brother Bruno and sister-in-law of the late Joe (late Jenny), late Mario (Mary) and late Mike (Assunta) and aunty to nieces and nephews in the Sault, Sudbury, Southern Ontario and Italy, and also survived by several cousins. Our Mother was quiet and gentle and took pleasure in making her home-made pasta and pizzelle for all to enjoy. Words from her favourite song…. "Mamma, la mia canzone piu bella sei tu", echo softly in our hearts as we forever cradle her love. Friends may call at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation And Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Sundayevening from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Jerome Church on Monday, August 11, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. with Father Eric Pannike officiating.
